  1. If you reattach the collar to the light after you remove it from the battery you have less of a chance of losing the collar.

  3. i’m going on a trip abroad, does anyone know if i can carry this on my carry on bag w/ a power bank at the airport?

  4. Great video with just the right amount of clear explanation of the battery pack. Also, where can one pick up the compass zipper-pull on your sweater?

  5. I bought the solar panel a few months ago. I frequently go out on backpacking trips that take several days even up to a week. I used to bring several large banks with me to keep my headlamp and phone charged. I love the solar panel it does great. I only have the two panel one. I’ve been using it with my little 5000 mA battery, but after this video I think I’m going to purchase their 15,000 mA battery

  6. Okay this looks like it would be a perfect setup for powering lighting while camping. Really liking the look of this charging package.

  7. Dave I know this comment is probably going to get drowned out in all the rest, however I would like to thank you for continuing supply of options for people to use in survival situations. Your education has been a blessing to many people for many years..
Going back to your long range hunter series. I would love to see a realistic long range survival on foot load out. Where we are not looking to be setting up many long term/short term traps every night. But be looking to cross long distances in short amount of time. A long range get home survival scenario. God bless you Dave and thank you for what you do for our families, our communities, and ourselves. I’ll always promise to be back to support you by watching another video when it drops.

  8. I have been looking at these for a while. After watching this review, I pulled the trigger and purchased the same kit as you reviewed. I have been using it for a few weeks now and find this system to be outstanding. This is an awesome system for outdoor use. Thanks for all you do Dave. Looking forward to seeing you in May.

  9. My understanding is that you can charge the battery while also using the battery to charge up your electronic devices. Pass thru charging. That is a very handy feature.

  10. I’ve been eyeing these on Amazon for several months now and keep finding something else I need more. The durability and waterproof/resistant factor is a huge standout in comparison to the competition. Thanks for sharing! I’ll have to check them out myself sometime soon.

  11. Hi Dave, after about 7 to 8 months of use of the Nestout product, what do you think of it compared to the Powerfilm lightSaver Max? I am thinking of getting the Nestout or the lightSaver Max for backpacking. Your thoughts on what you think might be good fit for backpacking would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Henry

  12. Very nice system. A bit pricey but what quality product isn’t. My mother had a small, framed cross stitch saying, "Things of Quality Have No Fear Of Time."

  13. I have a few “outdoor powerbanks” and this one is by far the best I’ve ever used. These things are absolute tanks and just getting a hands on experience you can tell these are quality items. Great video, sir!

  14. I have the 15,000 battery and both lights and they are great. Both lights are bright and being water proof is a huge plus.

  15. Goal Zero also makes these kits, but they are much more expensive. I like this unit cost better! Plus, it has better functionality. Nice job Dave!

  16. I bought the 15,000 battery and the lamp last month. I really like it. Im getting ready to add the solar panel.

  17. I’ve read a lot of people having issues with these just not working or bricking in the field and not charging their electronics. I decided to stick with the Anker powerbanks because their QC seems to be better
