  1. People…listen… proof positive that kids who frow up playing instruments are probably going to be mathematically and tech inclined.

  2. I have a problem. I have a full AV system with bipolar rear speakers. I now want to downsize but don’t want to compromise too much. One thing I don’t think I can compromise on is bipolar rear speakers. That severely limits my choices and wish more manufacturers would package them with their soundbars.

  3. Which soundbars have volume leveling? Have to have the soundbar bar volume control in hand when surfing across apps

  4. I have a large room with 9 ft ceilings. The room is about 18 ft x 30 ft. The sound system I buy will used mainly music, second youtube, then movies. I am concerned that sound bar will need to be to load to enjoy. Any thoughts?

  5. I’ve had the Bose Soundbar900 since it was released with dual 700 bass modules and the omni jewel rears and it is a totally awesome system. I have had practically zero issues with it and the sound it produces is beyond excellent. It is crystal clear and the bass leaves absolutely nothing to be desired for. It doesn’t have upward firing rears nor can it perform all the wizardry of more expensive soundbars and yet it is still truly stellar.

  6. Vizio M213ad-k8 cheapest was $69 dollars no freaking way am spending $200 dollars for one how much you get paid for your promoting this vizo

  7. Love your content Caleb! Well explained, maybe to well bc i cant decide!

So i got a lg g3 tv and no spund system. Ill reading forth and back on the web but it makes my head spin xD im about to buy a sonos arc + sub gen 3 and later there will be 2x era 300. But i read that people says that the dialouge is so poor in the arc that even at 50% power its hard to hear clear dialouge. Ive had an old sonos gen 1 of the small and i remember i loved the sound quality. Im no sound geek, i want it to be excelent and then i love the visuel estetics of sonos compared to all other clunky looks.

Please give me an advise! Can i purchase this system with a good feeling in my stomach

    Please

  8. You don’t need to charge the speakers on the JBL soundbars themselves. You can plug them in to USB C charging cables if you want to.

  9. Sonos is absolute hot garbage and won’t hold pairing with the sub. Sent it back after days of messing with it. Looking for an alternative.

  10. all of your soundbars miss the most IMPORTANT THING WHICH IS DELAY AND THE VIZIO M SERIES HAS THE WORST DELAY IVE EVER SEEN SOMETIMES SECONDS BEHIND THE TV WHICH MAKES DOLBY AND SURROUND USELESS WHEN YOU HAVE TO USE COMPRESSED 5.1 JUST TO GET IT TO SYNC

    DO NOT BUY THE VIZIO

  11. Bought the Vizio M512a-H6 13 months ago, and had it randomly shut off while watching tv, never to turn on again. Apperently this is a semi-common thing

  12. 😅 what an elitist. Folks, save your money you don’t need to pay this much for a great soundbar. This guy is a hack and stave to monetizing his channel. So tired of these channels.

  13. Which bar has the clearest dialogue clarity out of this list? I’m torn between the Bose ultra and Samsung q990c

  14. As always, amazing video. .y question is the vizio list. Verses pricing. The Vizio Elevate was $1000 3 years ago. Right now it’s $542 new through Best Buy and Amazon. The M series 5.1.2 you mentioned at $500 is now $384. At a price difference of $158 is the M series still the better option?

  15. I have the hta7000 all the way. I really wanted Bose for their signature sound and to compliment all the rest of the Bose speakers we have in each room of the house, but we went for the ht because of our Sony A90j. 2 years later found the setting on how to adjust literally every single speaker on the soundbar, rears and even make the sub louder beyond the generic heights of sound field. So hta7000 over Bose. Ht7000 is way more adjustable and customizable then any YouTube review has shown me, which honestly feels like no one gave the ht7000 a full shot. I’m sore the bar 9 has similar settings for all 10+ speaker levels for high volume levels. I fine tuned it probably 20 times and it now sounds even better then Bose or Sonos, I’ve tinker with my friends Sonos and Bose. And it the ht7000 is way better. I definitely advise discovering the adjustments for all speaker levels and adjust them all manually for best sound if you rereview these sound bars, you’ll be blown away by this. Once you do the auto set up/mappping. Audio settings 360 mapping off<back button<speaker setting<speaker setting information<manual speaker setting volume<manual speaker setting and start tweaking. Once done tweaking each and all single speakers, which by the way allows the rears to sound 2/3 times louder, retrace and turn on 360 and optimization.

Make upward speakers to fire up louder by doubling dealing height, couch level to further distance and the db levels to mid. I’m blown away by this greyed out feature I found 2 years later. lol Honestly, adjusting each speaker to fire upwards and rears louder makes a world of difference. Definitely set the speakers to be double in distance from the couch. I wanted Bose but this better after finally recovering each and every single speaker level adjustment. I have spent a week figure out how much louder each speakers should be for best sound stage and experience. Definitely double at 1st, beam twisters not be over adjusted tho, those are sensitive. Keep matching speakers at similar, sound bars front speakers are loud as it so don’t go crazy on that. Definitely turn on the 360 and map adjustment back on, I say unlock the speakers by steps written above, but don’t mess any other setting up. Just turn off and turn on the 360 optimization for level adjustment each time. It’s a lot of work but you’ll make the sony bar rears and sub a better louder sound stage at low control volume. At 35-45 percent volume adjustment with the sub at level 4, our living room sounds amazing for either music, shows or film. Rain sounds amazing. Also, anyone with high end sound system should stream hifi for amazing music fyi. The ht7000 is better with music after speaker adjustments. This is a perfect sound bar and powerful beyond what we can actually use with out bother neighbors. I now for sure know we made the best choice by not getting Bose, Sonos, or Samsung after this discovered super well hidden setting. lol Definitely recommend the hta7000 now over any other for a Sony tv or or none. So much better to have the Sony tv as center channel tho. Really completes and the system to use the tv. Adjusting the soundbar, reads levels to louder makes the tvs volumes to be a behind them without competing in the perfect harmony of sound. Wish I’d know this setting from the getco. lol

  16. DON’T BUY BOSE!! Horrible Customer Service. When I received my new BOSE Smart Ultra Soundbar, the remote control fell apart. I immediately called the customer service number and was told there was no stock available. This was not a problem since I can control the system through the app on my phone. However, they said they could not place an order for me until stock was available and instructed me to call back in 2 weeks. That’s what I did, and was told the same thing. Keep calling back in hopes that I happen to hit a window when the part is available. When I told them that blindly calling back in perpetuity was not acceptable, they were more than willing to return the entire system and loose the sale instead of trying to make things right. Business must be good if they can treat their customers with such disregard.

  17. hello, ULTIMEA D70 without dolby atmos but 7.1 or Poseidon D60 with dolby atmos and 5.1 only? is there a big difference?

  18. I’ve ever seen a Bose soundbar have very good sound. It’s missing so much from the spectrum. Almost no mids at all.

  19. Samsung connectivity is VERY flaky. I have owned two previous iterations of this system and the rear speakers drop out randomly and frequently. Not a patch on my Arc/Sub 3/ One SL setup.

  20. Is there a big difference between arc and earc if you are just running a stand alone (all in one) soundbar for ps5 gaming. It seems some soundbars have arc, some have earc, and some have neither. What is a good affordable soundbar that has the best features for ps5 gaming? I’m trying to keep it under $400 if possible.

  21. Im looking at doing a family room set up and so lost. Looking at possibly the 90D from samsung in 65 or bigger if it’ll fit but Ive always been a sony guy and dont know how their processor stacks up to others since its the same xr processor theyve had for years. Then sound bar wise im stuck between doing the lg 95tr (dont see many reviews or comparisons on it) as well as the samsung 990d or do a sonos setup (but i use android so wouldnt be able to calibrate). Help would be greatly appreciated.

  22. You seem like the best at this I live in an apartment and only want to be a standalone soundbar without having to purchase any extra speakers 🔊 or subwoofers etc. What is the best standalone soundbar for a brand new LG OLED G4 television in 2024? Any assistance you can bring is greatly appreciated!

  23. A tip for those considering the Sony HT-A9 with the 360 spatial mapping tech. You can get the same 360 spatial mapping on their flagship soundbars. You just need the Sony SA-RS5 wireless surround speakers too. If you’re like me and couldn’t swallow the $1200+ price tag for the HT-A7000, then the good news is the HT-A5000 also supports it. I think these have since been replaced by the Sony Bravia 8 and Bravia 9 soundbars. But that means you can now get the HT-A5000/7000 even cheaper. Costco has the HT-A5000 for $499. So you can get that, the SA-RS5 pair for $500 and the smaller Sony SA-SW3 for $300. $1300 is still a lot. But it’s got the same spatial mapping tech and is amazing IMO. You’d have to pay more just for the HT-A9 set and then you’d also want a sub. for my moderate sized living room the HT-a5000 with SA-RS5’s and SW3 sub is MORE than good enough. It’s freaking amazing. I don’t think people realize how good that spatial mapping tech is. And Sony really dropped the ball by making it difficult to set up properly. I have read a ton of bad rviews on the Sony soundbars from people that have no idea about this capability and they never got it set up properly, so the soundbars (5000/7000) are just expensive soundbars that aren’t really that special otherwise.
