I finished university about a month ago but I just wanted to say DO NOT get a MacBook Air if you are planning to use Excel. The app crashes frequently, can’t handle large datasets, lacks certain features and the shortcuts are really confusing. I literally had to use my old windows laptop to submit my assignments because my mac couldn’t upload documents on safari or chrome.
Any thoughts on the HP envy 360? I am curious how it stacks up against these

I’ve been having trouble finding the perfect laptop for me so I’m coming hoping someone would give me a suggestion:
Currently, I am using a 2020 Macbook Air and I hate it. I’m the kind that doesn’t do their work at the desk often and likes to do it on my lap or on the floor. It gets very warm easily and the fan is just annoying. I’m aware that it’s probably my working habits that cause it to overheat. Still, honestly, I’m not doing much on my laptop except to write and edit videos on Canva, so for me, it shouldn’t overheat so easily.
So now, I’m looking for a Windows Laptop that doesn’t overheat easily, the fan is quiet and can handle never-ending tabs and can play light games. I’m also looking for a laptop that is not too heavy, so I can bring it with me all day.
If anyone has a recommendation for a laptop that fits these needs, I’d really appreciate it! 😊
